There are many reasons for jobs outside the company building. For many employees, they gain quality of life, especially as home workplaces.
On balance, these jobs are often cheaper for employers too. Still, they undoubtedly increase the effort required for security: the support of decentralized or mobile work must not be at the expense of Cybersecurity. Even higher demands are needed, after all, physical protection of the infrastructure is less natural to achieve.
